Canadian Copper Skillet Names Chef to Advance to Chapter Cook-off

Vantage Venues proudly hosted the 2023 Canadian Copper Skillet on October 2nd, where three talented chefs engaged in a thrilling culinary showdown in the inaugural round of the prestigious IACC Global Competition. Among these culinary virtuosos were Chef Kyle McClure from Vantage Venues, Chef Tony Trinh representing BMO IFL (Dolce Hotels & Resorts by Wyndham), and James Vanhagen, the skilled Chef de Partie of Ivey Spencer Leadership Centre.

We are delighted to announce that Chef Tony Trinh showcased his culinary prowess and secured his place in the upcoming Americas Chapter competition, scheduled for early 2024. Congratulations to Chef Tony Trinh on this impressive achievement!

Save the date for the Global Copper Skillet Competition

April 19, 12:00 – 1:30 PM

The Ridge will host IACC Americas Knowledge Exchange from April 18 – 20, 2024, during which, Copper Skillet finalists from around the globe will compete in the finale for the title of Venue Chef of the Year.
